Hitting rock bottom sucks! But complacency--the kind that leaves you feeling stuck in a life of monotony when you have SO much more to give bursting at the seams trying to get out--sucks even more.
Yolanda knows this feeling all too well. Shortly after starting her second company, she felt like she had hit rock bottom. In the midst of one of the most uncomfortable stages of her life, she found herself at a fork in the road--should she go back to her comfy (yet unfulfilling) corporate job, OR dig deep and truly define what success means to her. She chose the latter...and has never looked back.
Within a year, Yolanda had a company was the most profitable it had been in those two years, was on track to double its income the following year and is steadily growing today. She started enjoying what she did more and attracting the type of clients that she really wanted. Her goal now is to empower other women to experience the same results.
Why? Because it’s #TheSuccessFULWay!
#TheSuccessFULWay’s motto in a nutshell is:
True Success = Purpose + Fulfillment
Yolanda's passion for successful living is at the core of her growing empire and life philosophy.

Yolanda N. Davis is an accomplished entrepreneur, philanthropist, and follower of Christ. As a fourth generation entrepreneur, growing up in the small town of Whiteville, NC, she’s always known that entrepreneurship would be a major part of her story. However, education has always been of significant importance to her as the third college graduate in her immediate family. She attained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Winston Salem State University and a Master of Science in Accountancy from Wake Forest University. After completion of her Master’s program, she entered corporate America as a Fortune 500 Business Assurance & Advisory Services professional for a Big Four Accounting Firm. She is currently a Juris Doctor candidate.
In 2009, Yolanda’s “entrepreneurial gene” kicked in and she left corporate America to pursue her real estate license (North and South Carolina Realtor® / Broker), as well as her Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte while starting her first company, Y9 Accounting.
Davis would go on to build several companies. She is the Founder and CEO of The Y9 Group, a boutique consulting firm specializing in 501(c)(3) nonprofit administration and management, as well as general accounting services for small businesses; Founder and President of both Tea Talk, a Christian women’s fellowship, and The Y9 Foundation, The Y9 Group’s philanthropic arm; and Co-Founder of Women Entrepreneurs 2.0, a nonprofit organization providing resources to women business owners.
She is now taking another leap of faith to fully serve and empower women spiritually, financially, and professionally focusing on women entrepreneurs through #TheSuccessFULWay. As a strategist at heart, she is committed to assisting as many women as possible in reaching their greatest potential. Her methods: to create opportunities for strategic thought that improves processes and implement solutions for success!
